Flat Sawing is the cutting of flat surfaces using a flat saw. These saws can cut through virtually any hard material, steel reinforced or not. Depths of 24" or more can be cut using large diamond segmented blades. Flat sawing is the best and most efficient way to get through concrete, asphalt, or other material or other access to the underground for installation of utilities or other work. Inside buildings floors are cut to allow for the installation of new pipe, conduit or fixtures. Flat sawing results in a nice straight and clean edge instead of a jagged broken edge like you would get from jack hammering or otherwise breaking the concrete. |
